Jay Ryan Raveendran

Being in the health industry for over 15 years as a physiotherapist, I started to understand that compassion-driven quality service was lacking. It felt like a race to acquire the most financial gain — and somewhere along the way, the person sitting in front of you got lost.

Taking time to understand someone’s story, their struggles, and their strengths can unlock incredible health outcomes. But I noticed this was missing, again and again. That’s why I founded Hopevana — to offer compassionate healthcare delivery so that hope finds its way back into people’s lives.

I completed my Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney and have spent over 15 years gaining experience across private practice and the disability sector. My specialty is treating back and neck pain — I have a genuine passion for all things related to the spine.

I’ve pursued further training in NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), Fascial Therapy, Mulligan and McKenzie treatment methods, acupuncture, whiplash management, and WorkCover injury management. I’ve also completed a certified course in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which allows me to communicate more effectively with patients to improve confidence, address fears, and support mental wellbeing alongside physical recovery.

My approach is holistic. I listen to your story, gain insight into the root cause of your issue, and design a recovery plan that places you in a position where you feel whole again. At Hopevana, we value commitment — and we will not give up on you.
